We are pleased to introduce AVG Anti-Malware which includes antivirus, anti–spyware and in the network version also the firewall component.
If you are looking for even more protection we recommend that you select AVG Internet Security which has the same features as AVG Anti-Malware plus an anti-spam component and the firewall even for non-networked users!
Current AVG products have also been improved
- Improved virus detection based on better heuristics and NTFS data streams scanning

- Language selection ability during installation
- User interface enhancements
- New feature "Security status" added to control the AVG status with:
- Green color – all AVG components are fully functional
- Red Color – some of the components is in an error state
- Yellow color – some of the components is in an error state, but the users opted manually,that such state should be ignored
